How do you say SEDE in English?
Primarily SEDE in English is HEADQUARTERS. This interesting word is even more so because it ends with an S and yet it is a singular word (just like NEWS for example).
We call a place HEADQUARTERS if it is the center of operations of some organization preferably a military one.

VENUE can also be a rendezvous point. It was the other members who decided that Chicago would be the VENUE of our meeting.
SEAT is another alternative. New York is the SEAT of the UNO.
And yet LA SANTA SEDE, Vatican City, is said differently as well: THE HOLY SEE.
