English vs Spanish: Poultry

In general, all birds that are domesticated to be eventually consumed are collectively called POULTRY.
In Spanish to refer to the same idea we use three words AVES DE CORRAL for lack of a single term.
POULTRY includes Chicken, Duck, Goose, and Turkey mainly with the addition of other birds such as Pigeon or Pheasant and even Ostrich in specific regions.
The consumption of Chicken is common in Latin America but  not that of Goose. Duck and Turkey are less common but they are part of Latin American Poultry.  It is obvious that in this context English proves again has richer vocabulary.
