How do you say CARRERA in English?
If you mean a competititon such as the one shown in the picture then the word is RACE.
Now depending on who or what participates in the race then we have Car Races or Horse Races if the competition requires cars or horses respectively. When the participants are human generally those races receive their names according to their length so a race that takes a hundred meters is the One-Hundred-meter Race. or a Two-Hundred-meter Race if it takes two hundred meters to complete.
The term Human Race does exist but it is another way to refer to Mankind so here the meaning is other than CARRERA.
Now if we mean what one person studies as his or her profession then that is another term: CAREER. I you want to become a lawyer then you pursue a career in Law.
