What is New England?

The states that were the territory where the pilgrims from England arrived back in 1620 and later on colonized in the form of the Plymouth colony are collectively called New England. They are Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island. Some of the smallest states of the American Union can be found there.

That's good to know. It is important to see how history shape our present even when we refer to names and cities. Learning a language involve learning its culture and history, from where it is spoken.

I wish I knew more about world geographics. So this comes in handy. I swear that the only geography I was taught at school was Ecuador and its provinces, the oceans, and the continents. A few months back, I saw this video where a geography teacher was showing a map with the actual size of the countries and found out that The United States, looks bigger than it is, on the maps. Turns out, we've been taught inaccurate geography.
