Sexiest Catwoman Ever!


  


 

One of the most well-known DC characters is Catwoman. If you think of Batman you immediately remember Catwoman. Is she a hero or a villain? that has never been clearly defined and when a ranking of villains is made she is there and when a ranking of heroes is made she is there, too. Thus we could say she is both a hero and a villain though lately she is being siding with the angels. Whether as a thrill-seeking villain or a reluctant heroine, Selina Kyle (her real name), always ranks high among the sexiest heroines of all time. Here is my opinion on who played the sexiest Catwoman ever. I am designing my list starting with actresses who played the role in between the sixties and 2012.
5. Eartha Kitt. The second actress to play Catwoman in the Batman 1960 series (Julie Newmar was first). Well, in a time when African Americans were still somewhat segregated and given only minor roles Eartha landed this role for a reason and that was the sensuality she conferred to the character. The way she moved reminded everyone around her of cats. She was feline, sexy and even while wearing her spandex suit she looked sexy.
4. Halle Berry. This actress is the sexiest of among all the five. Look at her with that ridiculous costume which she actually makes look acceptable, but the reality is no one sane would wear that stupid cap with cat ears.  Halle is simply put magnificent and she is a talented actress but not even her impressive looks and her acting skills could save Catwoman from drowning in a sea of shame.
3. Anne Hathaway. A real princess that in that  Catwoman suit looked purrrfeccct! I had my reservations when it was announced she would be the next to wear Catwoman tights but when you see her acting then you understand that it was the right choice. Still the problem with her is that you see her without the costume and memories of her acting as the White Queen of Wonderland or the Princess of The Princess Diaries come running put she to your mind (at least my mind). Simply put she was not Selina Kyle, but in everything else she was in the WOW level.
2. Michelle Pfeiffer. My favorite Catwoman though not the sexiest. I like her version of Catwoman just because hers was the only one whose origin was told. She fit perfectly in the dark but crazy world that Tim Burton created for the two movies he directed. Pfeiffer was the one who completely dressed up as Catwoman and who more powerfully than the others brought that duality of the character to her interpretation. The only problem? She is blond and Catwoman is not blond.
1. Julie Newmar. Could it be otherwise? Certainly not. Newmar's body redefines what they mean when they talk about "voluptuous curves". Where did they find her? I just don't know but wherever it was she set a standard for all the other actresses that would be Catwoman after her: they all had to be at the same time a nasty girl but also a sexy babe and a queen at that. The Maps of Ship-Trap Island

Once I had my high school students read The Most Dangerous Game, a short story by Richard Connell. Rainsford, the main character, is a professional hunter traveling by ship to his next hunting area, accidentally ends up in an island called Ship- Trap island. When he goes into the island he finds there are two men living in a palace in the island. One of them is a Cossack general and the other, his brutish servant.  The Cossack is called general Zaroff who is also  a game hunter but has become bored of hunting regular game and now uses the island's unique position to capture sailors from shipwrecks. He lets them go first and next after some time he hunts them down. Rainford's arrival who is worldwide famous presents Zaroff with a rare opportunity to find excitement in hunting again by hunting another hunter. Little does Zaroff know that Rainsford is The Most Dangerous Game in the World and hunting him will not be easy at all. My students enjoyed themselves at reading

How do you say NACIMIENTO NAVIDEÑO in English?

"Oh no! Not another power blackout!"             NACIMIENTO NAVIDEÑO or PESEBRE NAVIDEÑO is a tradition which consists in recreating the moment of Jesus Christ's birth with small figures representing Joseph, Mary, the shepherds and the Wise Kings. Baby Jesus is set on December 25th of course, while the other figures are placed before, usually at the beginning of December.       The translation is NATIVITY SCENE, though some people only say CHRISTMAS SCENE. This last term is a bit broad -- even an image of Santa Claus riding his sleigh falls under that description. Saying CHRISTMAS NATIVITY SCENE would be perhaps more appropriate.                                                                                        Merry Christmas!
